Comply with the elementary rules of safety:
- Never leave a candle lit during your absence, an accident quickly arrived.
- Attention with the children, they are subjugated by the gleam of a candle, never leave it with their range.
- Attention also with your domestic animals.
- Hold the flame far from any object combustible or flammable (curtains, tablecloths, nets curtain, pieces of furniture)
- Put out always a candle before it is not entirely consumed, you will protect your candlesticks thus and the decorations which they support, especially if the latter are in dried flowers or paper.
- Burn your candles only on candlesticks or suitable supports resistant to hot wax.
- Never place them on a not protected surface, this one could be damaged by the heat of the flame or hot wax.
- Extinguish any candle which starts to smoke.
- Do not move your candles when they are lit, nor when the wax or freezing is still liquid.
- Attention with the candles in gel, pose them on a stable surface, in a place where they are not likely to be reversed.
- Do not leave them especially with the range children, nor domestic animals.
- Never leave pieces of match or wicks on an incandescent candle, they could ignite.
- Let burn your candles too much close of a wall neither in a draught, nor close to a radiator.
- "Mouchez" regularly your candles; a curved or too long wick can make drip the candle and burn you.
- If you must light several brought closer candles, start with most distant, and finish by that which is more close to you, this will avoid you burning you by flying over the candles.
